Our Story

Women in Claude is a global movement for Claudettes: women using Claude to build, create, experiment, and bring one another with them.

Our Story

Women in Claude didn’t start with a strategy deck.

It started with a voice note.

Wan Wei sent it to Adora late on a Tuesday night, somewhere between finishing a client proposal and the kind of quiet that only hits after a long day of building. It wasn’t polished. She was tired. But she said something that neither of them could shake:

“I’ve been building with Claude for months. I feel something every time I open it. Like I’m not behind anymore. Like I finally have a thinking partner who doesn’t make me feel small. I wonder if other women feel this too.”

Adora replied in seconds. “We do. I know we do.”

That was the beginning of something neither of them expected: a global movement.

Wan Wei and Adora are both female entrepreneurs who fell hard for Claude, not because it was trendy, but because it was genuinely useful in ways nothing else had been. They weren’t using it to play around. They were using it to build real things, think through hard problems, move faster, and show up better in their work.

And Claude made them feel capable in a way they didn’t expect.

Not dependent. Not replaced. Capable. Like their ideas finally had the horsepower to match their ambition.

The more they talked about it with other women, the more they noticed a pattern. Across time zones, industries, and backgrounds, when women talked about Claude, the conversation got real fast. Less performance, more honesty. Women saying things like “I built this whole thing by myself and I didn’t think I could” and “I finally feel like I can keep up” and “nobody showed me this but I figured it out.”

That quiet confidence kept showing up everywhere. And it deserved a home.

So they co-founded one.

Women in Claude is a global movement for every woman who has ever opened Claude to finish something that mattered. Who has used it to pitch something scary, write something brave, automate something tedious, or think through something she couldn’t say out loud yet. Who felt, just once, like the tool met her where she was: capable, curious, and ready for more.

We are founders, operators, educators, researchers, creatives, builders: across every country, every industry, every timezone. We are women who are not waiting to be invited into AI. We are already here.

The women at Anthropic building Claude? We see them. We are inspired by them. Seeing women shape AI products at the highest level is not a small thing. It is proof. It is permission. It says: this space is yours too.

And we are adding our names to that proof, from every corner of the world.

Our members are called Claudettes.

Not because it’s cute. Because it means something. A Claudette is a woman who walks the talk. She doesn’t just say AI is changing everything: she shows up and changes something. She shares what she learns. She pulls others in. She builds AI-native ways of working and brings her community with her.

Claudettes don’t wait. They build. And they bring other women with them.

If that’s you, welcome. You’ve been a Claudette this whole time. We just finally have a name for it.

Co-founded by Wan Wei and Adora. Built by every woman who showed up.
